Top ten goalscorers since 2010

10 – Gonzalo Higuain – 244 goals

Despite not being able to deliver for AC Milan and Chelsea, Higuain kicks off the list for the most number of goals in the last twelve years. The Napoli and Juventus talisman holds the record of scoring the joint-highest goalscorer in one season of Serie A.

9 – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang – 277 goals

Aubameyang now features for Barcelona, after leaving Arsenal. The Gabon international featured most prominently for Borussia Dortmund and the North London club over the last decade, establishing himself as a deadly striker in front of goal.

8 – Zlatan Ibrahimovic – 287 goals

One of the strongest sports personalities in the world, Ibrahimovic continues to play at the highest level in his 40s. The Swedish striker is showing no signs of slowing down either. He has played for some of the top clubs in the world throughout his career such as PSG, Barcelona, Inter Milan and Manchester United, and now features for AC Milan.

7 – Sergio Aguero – 296 goals

It’s still hard to believe that Aguero had to retire last year. The Argentinian is arguably one of the greatest strikers of all-time in the Premier League. He has netted 296 goals in his career, featuring for Man City, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid.

6 – Karim Benzema – 297 goals

The Real Madrid talisman is only now starting to get the recognition that he is worthy of. He has been the main man in Real Madrid’s attack for the last few years, and is now one of their highest ever goalscorers.

5 – Luis Suarez – 307 goals

Suarez featured most prominently for Liverpool and Barcelona over the past decade, establishing himself as one of the best number 9s in the world. He now plays for Atletico Madrid, and won La Liga in his first season, with 20 goals contributed to the cause too.

4 – Edinson Cavani – 332 goals

Cavani is among the most underrated strikers of the current era. The Uruguayan can score all kinds of goals, and is most fondly remembered for his time with Paris Saint-Germain, followed by Napoli and currently, Manchester United.
