2. Australia
In ODIs, Australia has made 4,19,350 runs to date, playing around 958 matches. They are the most successful ODI team as they have won the ICC ODI World Cup a record 5 times – 1987, 1999, 2003, 2007 and 2015.
3. India
India has won 2 ODI World Cup titles, played 999 ODIs and scored 4,44,586 runs. They form the Big 3 in cricket along with Australia and England.
4. West Indies
West Indies captures the fourth spot. In a total of 834 ODIs, they won the Cup two times scoring up to 3,47,841 runs.
5. Pakistan
Pakistan has played a total of 1566 international matches out of which 936 were ODI clashes, where the team mustered 4,01,259 runs.
6. New Zealand
The fifth spot is taken by New Zealand. In 775 ODIs, the team has made an overall score of 3,25,779 runs.
7. South Africa
South Africa gets a seventh place in the list. In 638 ODIs, they have made 2,80,237 runs.
8. Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka has also mustered 3,71,622 runs in 870 ODI games and takes eighth place.
9. Zimbabwe
In 541 ODIs, Zimbabwe accounted for 2,30,752 runs getting the second last spot.
10. Bangladesh
Bangladesh is the last team to get a space on the list of the top 10 teams with the most runs in ODI. In 388 ODIs, Bangladesh has scored 1,63,741 runs.
