Tomb Raider Release date
The four streaming services Netflix, Crystal Dynamics, Square Enix, and Legendary Television have collaborated with the latest animated series that revolves around the Tomb Raider video game franchise. It is the first time that an anime project has been announced for Skull Island. Back into January 2021, it is an upcoming new animated project set to hit on Netflix.
On its own website, Netflix has enlisted this project as a Japanese action animation series that has been described as an adventurous road trip. In IMDb, it has been described as heroine Lara Croft as she explores the latest territory.
Now, this series has been renowned in the slew of popular video game that has been adapted on Netflix. As a franchise, this series exists still in the middle of the 90s and has become one of the largest gaming franchises of history that also has been made up its own way to reveal to the big screen like the Tomb Raider films of Angelina Jolie.
This franchise has contained 17 video games entering reportedly, on its way. In just 5 years this game will come with its 30-year-old anniversary. We will like to inform you that there are three films set to release soon based on the video game IP containing two of Angelia Jolie’s entries like Lara Croft: Tomb Raider and The Cradle of Life. The reboot will feature Alicia Vikander’s arrival in 2018 under the sequel development set to release by Warner Brothers.
It is reported that this series will shortly be taken after the Square Enix trilogy events of the games that had been released between 2013 and 2018.

This action Netflix series has been produced by Legendary Television for Netflix along with Crystal Dynamics, Square Enix, DJ2 Entertainment, and also Tractor Pants.
In this, the animation studio which is giving its effort into the project become the Powerhouse Animation Studio that is behind Castlevania on Netflix and has recently signed up for its very first look to deal with Netflix. It has been operated out of Austin Texas. In this, the executive producers are Howard K. Bliss, Stephen Vladimir Bugaj, Dmitri M. Johnson, and Jacob Robinson.
Tomb Raider: Production Status
In late May 2021, Tasha Huo posted that they have ended the process of writing which indicates it will be all down to the animators and the voice artists to add a few words on paper to life. They have celebrated mainly by throwing such axes.

Tomb Raider: Characters
We will start with the obvious as this game will definitely feature Lara Craft. On 13th September it has been reported that Lara will be sounded by Hayley Atwell who is very popular for her voice of Peggy Carter in Captain America and also for her own standalone series, Agent Carter.
Now we can give the confirmation about the return of the one character of Netflix that is Zip. This character has already been featured in both the legend and the original timeline, we have confirmed it after watching the list of the Netflix cast. It will appear to be more akin to be seen of Zip in the Legends timeline.
This character has been discovered by Croft Industries after he had been broken into two databases as a competitor. They have reunited him and offered a handsome amount.

Netflix has confirmed that the film will hit in December 2023.
