Titanic Sub Tragedy is Coming Soon, James Cameron is going to Direct it; all details about it

James Cameron has been to the Titanic’s wreckage more than 30 times and directed an Oscar-winning love story about the sinking ship, but he has no plans to look into the most recent incident involving the ship. The director has refuted allegations that he is in negotiations to direct a film about the OceanGate submarine, which is thought to have sunk while exploring the Titanic wreck in the deep water, killing its five occupants.

James Cameron bluntly stated on Twitter early on Saturday, “I don’t respond to offensive rumors in the media usually, but I need to now.” “Neither am I nor will I ever be in discussions about an OceanGate movie.”

It’s not entirely unexpected that some people think Cameron will become involved with an OceanGate movie. Since he began filming his 1997 epic, the 68-year-old director has established himself as the public’s go-to authority on all things Titanic. Cameron gave an interview to ABC News to discuss the catastrophe and denounce OceanGate after officials found “likely human remains” from the Titan submarine.

In letters to the corporation, some of the top names in the field of deep submergence engineering even complained that the project was too experimental to transport people and that it needed to be approved, according to Cameron. The Titanic disaster itself, in which the captain was frequently warned about impending ice, struck me as being very similar.

Many people perished as a result of the fact that the ship’s captain steamed full speed into an ice field on a moonless night. For us, it’s a tragedy that happened because warnings went unheeded.

The Titanic shipwreck was surrounded by additional debris that the U.S. Coast Guard found in June. Within a few hours, it became official that the missing Titan submersible’s crew was thought to have perished in a “catastrophic implosion” of the craft.

Naturally, Cameron has his hands full with the people of Pandora while working on the third “Avatar” film in the wake of “The Way of Water’s” phenomenal box office success. On December 19, 2025, the threequel is scheduled to release, with two more sequels to follow.
