Titan, one of the leading mechanical watch markets in India, entered the smartwatch playground back in December 2021 with its Titan Smart smartwatch. It was landed just below the Rs.10,000 price range, with the tag of INR 8,995. Now, it seems the brand had a long plan for the smartwatch seekers and at present, it is on the track. After two months of the entry, Titan again launches the successor, Titan Smart Pro in the Indian market.
To justify the name extension “Pro” Titan has introduced multiple additions and improvements over the past. So, as usual, the price also hiked up a bit. Titan Smart Pro upgrades over Titan Smart
The Titan Smart was already a good product but not a perfect one. There were multiple spaces where Titan can improve. Maintaining the track record in the mechanical watch section, Titan has done the same here also. Let’s have a look at all the improvements on the new Titan Smart Pro over the Titan Smart.
Design – At a first glance, you can notice only two changes. The screen edges are narrower on the Titan Smart Pro and it has two wheels on the right, instead of two. Alongside, the sides are curved too. These points you can get just by seeing the units. But, what you will feel is the Titan Smart Pro is more compact with 12mm of thickness and 42.75mm width. The Titan Smart has 13.35mm thickness and 44.2mm width.
Display – Titan has made one of the most notable upgrades in the display section. It uses an AMOLED screen this time instead of TFT. However, the screen size is reduced to 1.19-inch from 1.32-inch.
Sensors – Titan added GPS inside the new variant along with the body temperature monitor. The GPS will help the smartwatch to capture your activities, like walking, running, etc, more accurately; whereas the body temperature monitor is an essential tool to have on your wrist, especially considering the COVID.
Instruments – In case you love hiking and went for it very often, or you stay around high hill areas, Titan Smart Pro has Altimeter and Barometer for you. Needless to mention, these are very rare to see in any smartwatch.
Watchfaces – Giving the style a bit more priority, Titan just doubled its watch-face offerings. You as a user can pick any one among over 100 watch-faces whichever suits you.
