At last, the first official trailer of Marvels’ Thunder King who can possess the power of Thunder means Thor has returned with the much-awaited sequence Thor: Love and Thunder. This time Thor is coming with his Thunder Lady. We have seen in the previous films that from the beginning of the story Jane Foster has always been the love interest of Odinson. In the last Thor film, she was not in that much though, but now in this new Thor: Love and Thunder adaptation the matters are going to fix first before happening anything.
The first trailer of Thor: Love and Thunder beautifully portray the transformation of Thor Odinson aka Chris Hemsworth with time while he and the rest of the Avengers are still managing to win against Thanos in Endgame.
After leaving the Mad titan and restoring the peace one thing is still not clear how long Thor aka Hemsworth will stay with the Guardians as the story of Love and Thunder reveals that it is going to just focus on the Journey of Thor along with the universe for meeting other races of the aliens that are looking like Marvel’s Marathon, but we also assuming that Thor left the Guardians of the Galaxy after the events of Avengers: Endgame.
The story of the film follows the journey of Thor facing things that he has never faced before. There is a galactic killer popular as the God Butcher or Gorr has forced him to break his retirement and wants the extinction of the gods. To give equal combat, Thor seeks the help of King Valkyrie, Korg, and also his ex-girlfriend Janne Foster who surprises her. Now they jointly explore the cosmic adventure to reveal the secrets of the vengeance of the God Butcher to stop him as soon as possible.
Thor: Love and Thunder: Trailer Details
The new one-and-a-half-minute trailer starts with the childhood of Thor who is running through the woods and reveals his transformation from childhood to adulthood as he becomes the powerful character and the king of Thunder. After that, the trailer reveals Thor is in the middle of the fire and tells that the hands which were once used for battle now become humble tools of peace, and now he wants to discover himself.
Thor is on the way to wandering with Guardians of the galaxy and has gone into depression due to his weight and that has made him the best in his life as one of the last standing Asgardians. He just wants to select his own path by living in the moment.
It seems like the superhero days of Thor are over. The trailer contains many fairy tale scenes and Thor is kissing a lady in a boat. The most amazing scene is while Thor is holding his hammer Mjolnir that is spreading yellow lights. There is a plan as we have seen Thor is standing on the top of the snowy mountains, telling something about remembering.
We have also seen Russell Crowe’s Zeus appearance but we just only see the back and a little moment of him catching that well-known iconic bolts. In the trailer, we have not seen Christian Bale’s Gorr the God Butcher.
One thing in the trailer is really very true if you ever feel lost just look into the eyes of the person you love most. The trailer ends with battlefields as Thor: Love and Thunder introduce Jane Foster aka Natalie Portman as the thunder lady holding the well-known hammer Mjolnir, it shows a very short glimpse of the lady in mask and thunder costumes. This scene proves that she is as strong to hold it.
The most interesting fact is Thor has not had that much interaction with Valkyrie as the remaining Asgardians are trying to reconstruct their entire society in the Norwegian city formerly popular as Tonsberg.
The new Thor film unveils Korg aka Taika Waititi while he explores with Thor in space the appearance of Valkyrie at the new position of the leader of the New Asgard has unexpectedly led the life of the bureaucratic labor that keeps her off from the battlefield. There will be a sharp comparison in between Val and Thor as who of them seems to be taken a much more relaxing approach to things.
At the last time, we have seen Jane as she and Thor were still in the middle and falling into love, Asgard also was standing as Thanos had not yet laid the waste to the entire universe. This Thor: Love and Thunder clearly extend the elements of Jane’s time as Thor and become the only person who has been capable of wielding Mjolnir which is an interesting bit of the tale to return her to the movies.
The big secret is, that the new version of Thor belongs to the same universe as Jane Foster then how it will affect her future in the MCU, to know that we have to wait for further updates.
