Thibaut Courtois has revealed the reason why Endrick is being called Bobby by his Real Madrid teammates. The striker made the move to the Spanish capital just this summer, but has quickly established himself as a top player.
He recently became Real Madrid’s youngest goalscorer in the Champions League with his goal against Stuttgart. Moreover, he also scored on his LaLiga debut to make it two goals in just over 20 minutes played.

‘He told me that he had been misinterpreted, that what he wanted to refer to had been changed a bit, or something like that,’ Courtois revealed.
‘I asked him about it one day and he told me that he hadn’t given that answer, that later the video was changed as if he said that he was his idol.’
Endrick recently played for Brazil at Wembley Stadium and allegedly cited Sir Bobby Charlton as his idol. Jude Bellingham was one of the first to catch on to his teammate’s comments and use the Bobby nickname on his Instagram. Rodrygo is among the players who have hopper on to the trend as well.
