Theo Hernandez has renewed his contract with AC Milan until 2026. The left-back is one of the best in his position in Europe, and is among the most valuable players in the squad as well. The defender is currently valued at €48 million on Transfermarkt.
There were rumours about some big clubs being interested in him in the summer, but they have all been put to rest with his contract renewal. The new deal has been announced officially by the club, and the contract has been signed as well.
Theo Hernandez signs new contract with AC Milan
The left-back joined AC Milan from Real Madrid in 2019, and in two-and-a-half years at AC Milan, he has managed to make a big impact for the club. In 20 Serie A appearances this season alone, he has scored four goals and provided five assists.
And since making his debut for the French national team in 2021, Hernandez has earned four caps so far. He has also scored his debut goal for the national team as well. Hernandez is one of the footballers who has played on both sides of Madrid, coming through the Atletico academy before joining Real Madrid.
With Theo Hernandez’s contract renewed, AC Milan are looking at the contract renewals of Rafael Leao and Ismael Bennacer to help solidify the squad. They are currently in second spot in the table, and are competing for the Scudetto with arch rivals Inter Milan.
