Vaio launched their most premium laptop in 2021 with the launch of Vaio Z, it announced the first laptop that is made up of carbon fiber. You will be surprised to know that the ultimate physical outcome weights less than 1kg and looks great.
This new laptop belongs to the premium category, as its global price starts at $3,579. It comes with a 14-inch 4K display having 3,840×2,160 resolution and HDR support.
The Vaio Z is powered by a quad-core 11th Gen Tiger Lake-H CPU i.e. the Intel Core i7-11375H with boost clock speeds up to 5 GHz. The laptop looks stunning, measuring just 12.2mm and weighing 1.06kg while sporting an all-day battery life as per VAIO.
As it is made up of 3D printed carbon fibre it is two times more durable and flexible than traditional metals and alloys. Even though it’s very slim it houses a full-sized HDMI port along with two USB Type-C ports that support Thunderbolt 4, USB Power Delivery, SuperSpeed USB 20Gbps, DisplayPort 1.4 and 5V Assist Charge.
VAIO offers up to 32 GB RAM and 2TB SSD storage which internationally costs up to $4,179. It comes with pre-installed Windows 10 Pro, Windows Hello, fingerprint sensor for quick login.
The speakers have Dolby Audio support and the capacity to produce a stereo effect. Users can enjoy video calls through the built-in webcam. The company claims that the Vaio Z can go with you actively for up to 10 hours, and to refill the battery, they are sending a 65W fast charger in the box.
