The final chapter of *The Witcher* on Netflix is shaping up to be the biggest one yet. With over 25 new cast members confirmed and a fan-favourite character finally making her live-action debut, Season 5 is clearly pulling out all the stops for its swan song.

### The Headline: Anna Henrietta Is Coming to *The Witcher*

Actress and comedian **Ellie Taylor** (*Ted Lasso, Knuckles*) has been cast as Duchess **Anna Henrietta** of Toussaint for the fifth and final season — a beloved character from the final book of the saga *Lady of the Lake*, and widely recognised from CD Projekt RED’s *Blood & Wine* expansion for *The Witcher 3*.

Anna Henrietta is expected to appear around episodes 5 and 6. She is a past love interest of Jaskier, and the two will reunite when the hunt for Ciri leads Geralt and his companions to the duchy of Toussaint.

For fans of both the books and the games, this casting is a very big deal.

### Ciri’s Arc: Danger, Fighting Pits & an Iconic Ice Sequence

**Neil Stuke** (*Silk*) is believed to be playing **Dominik Houvenaghel**, crime boss and cousin of Leo Bonhart. After Bonhart captures Ciri at the end of Season 4, he hands her over to his cousin to fight in his fighting pits rather than kill her — reasoning she’s worth far more as an attraction than as a bounty.

Ciri eventually escapes, but Stefan Skellen assembles his own gang to hunt her down — including **Sam Pamphilon** as **Cyprian Fripp** and **Yinka Awoni** as **Zadarlik**. Meanwhile, fisherman **Gosta**, played by **Nick Chadwin**, points the way to Tor Zireael — hinting at an iconic ice skating sequence straight from the books.

Book readers, you know exactly what that means.

### More New Faces Joining the Final Season

Further additions include **Georgia Goodman** (*Wednesday*) as **Madam Toulouse**, **Fergus Rattigan** as **Paddy the Dwarf**, and **Clive Kneller** as **High Priest**. Previously confirmed names include **Emily-Jo Young** as **Shani**, **Kate Dickie** (*Game of Thrones*) as **Sigrdrifa**, **Liv Andrusier** as **Condwiramurs Tilly**, and **Andy Apollo** (*The Diplomat*) as **Reynart de Bois-Fresnes**.
