The Witcher fans will have the best time at the end of this year 2021 as The Witcher Season 2, the Netflix series is going to release on 17th December 2021. In the new trailer of the series, The Witcher has revealed a new monster which will be fought by Geralt of Rivia.

The trailer of The Witcher Season 2 was released on 25th November 2021 that has introduced Myriapod, a huge monster with a past remembrance of a centipede, although this creature has only eight legs, with horns on its head and teeth to tear apart its prey.
Andrzej Sapkowski, the Polish writer of the series has imagined in a way that would surely scare anyone who has encountered a monster like this. The trailer has lastly managed to put Geralt into trouble with his agility.
It has come to know that the new episodes will feature witchers from the books that had not been seen on the streaming platform before. It will also feature other creatures that will surprise us and be terrible enemies for the character starring Henry Cavill.
Similarities between the series and the video game of The Witcher
The audience who are the fans of the video game The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt and simultaneously the fan of the series, and has played with the expansion Blood and Wine, will definitely have an idea of what a Myriapod can do, as it has similarities with a creature that appears there called Viy of Maribor.

The Witcher Season 2 is going to release and start its streaming exclusively on Netflix on 17th December. The second installment of The Witcher will consist of a total of 8 episodes.
