Some films open with noise. *The Vvaan* is opening with momentum. Sidharth Malhotra and Tamannaah Bhatia’s fantasy thriller grew steadily every day and wrapped its first weekend on a promising note.

### The Vvaan: Day-Wise Collections

| Day | Box Office (Nett) |
| --- | --- |
| Day 1 | Rs 7.50 crore |
| Day 2 | Rs 10.75 crore |
| Day 3 | Rs 13.50 crore |
| **Total** | **Rs 31.75 crore (est.)** |

Sunday grew by about 25 per cent, which is a healthy sign of good word of mouth.

### Bihar Is the Film’s Powerhouse

The film is set against the backdrop of Chhath Puja, and audiences in Bihar have embraced it. The Bihar circuit netted about Rs 3.75 crore over the weekend, and trade tracking suggests it could cross Rs 10 crore nett there in its full run. The impact reaches beyond Bihar too. Cities with large Bihari communities, such as Ludhiana, are doing excellent business, while nearby cities like Amritsar and Patiala are much lower. In other words, the film’s strength follows where its target audience lives.

### What Happens Next?

Directed by Deepak Kumar Mishra, the film now faces the real test: **Monday and the weekdays.** If it holds well, it has the potential to earn a clean hit verdict. But it also has a big rival, since Ajay Devgn’s *Drishyam: The Conclusion* is arriving, and the film’s run will depend a lot on how it trends against that release.

### Why This Weekend Matters

- **Steady climb:** Every day beat the last.
- **Cultural connection:** A festival-rooted story is clicking with its core audience.
- **Diaspora effect:** Regional pull is spreading the numbers nationwide.
