Vivo has announced its X50 Pro Plus smartphone back in June this year and released for sale on July 11, 2020. This phone is paced with some of the very special specifications. But the best one is its cameras. The camera module of the Vivo X50 Pro Plus has managed to secure one of the top three positions of DxOMark’s camera rankings. The still camera of this phone has managed to score 139 points which are just 1 point behind the Huawei P40 Pro. The P40 Pro currently holds the second place.
This phone has some of the impressive specifications in its quad rear camera module, which is equipped with a 50 MP and 1/1.31-inch Samsung ISOCELL GN1 primary sensor, a 13 MP ultra-wide-angle camera with a 1/3.4-inch sensor, and a 32 MP telephoto camera, along with a 13 MP periscope zoom lens. The X50 Pro Plus is capable to record 8K videos too.
The Vivo X50 Pro Plus has a pretty flexible zooming technology that features a good mid-range zoom as well as a long 124 mm lens (5x magnification). In terms of the exposure triangle (ISO, shutter speed, and aperture) this phone offers a wide range of settings, features a wide dynamic range, and excellent color rendering. Not only in daylight but also this device is ready to take some great pictures in the low light situations and the autofocus of this phone also earned a perfect score. The ultra-wide sensor gives some decent performance too.
Now that’s all about still photography. The camera setup of this phone has managed to bag 104 points in the video test, acquired the third position by only one point. The main highlight is even without the gimbal system like the X50 Pro, this phone gives some real good stabilization during video recording. According to some of the reviewers, the X50 Pro Plus is at its best when set to 4K/30 fps mode (color rendering needs some work to improve).
