If you’ve been an Ajith Kumar fan long enough, the name “Siva” hits differently. The duo behind four back-to-back blockbusters — all starting with the letter ‘V’ — are officially set to work together again. Director **Siva** has confirmed to Cinema Vikatan that he and **Ajith Kumar** will reunite for a fifth collaboration, and Tamil cinema is already buzzing with anticipation.

There’s no title, no cast announcement, and no release date yet — but the confirmation alone is enough to get fans talking.

## Why This Reunion Is a Big Deal

Look at their track record and you’ll understand why this news matters. Veeram was a mass family entertainer, Vedalam became a cult action classic, Vivegam was Ajith’s big-budget spy thriller, and Viswasam — perhaps the most emotionally resonant of the four — was a national blockbuster that crossed Rs 200 crore and won the [National Film Award for Best Popular Film](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Film_Award_for_Best_Popular_Film_Providing_Wholesome_Entertainment), a rare feat for a Tamil film. Every time Siva and Ajith come together, the result has been a mass entertainer that connects deeply with family audiences — exactly the kind of film Tamil cinema needs more of.

Siva told Cinema Vikatan that the project is confirmed, but official details will be shared through proper channels at the right time. He also clarified that Ajith is currently focused on **AK64** with director Adhik Ravichandran, and the Siva project will move forward only after that one gets underway.

## What We Know About AK64

Before the Siva reunion becomes reality, Ajith first has **AK64** on his plate — his immediate next after Good Bad Ugly. Adhik Ravichandran, who directed GBU, returns for this project too, and has described it as something distinctly different from their last outing. While unconfirmed, Mohanlal and Sreeleela have both been linked to the film.

Ajith is currently busy with his racing season — because of course he is — but AK64 is expected to go on floors very soon in 2026.
