## What’s the Story?

Life in the Mushroom Kingdom is disrupted when glowing star pieces start raining from the sky and Rosalina crashes her wrecked ship nearby. Meanwhile, a reckless Bowser Jr. is using dark magic and a mysterious brush to free his shrunken father from his tiny jar prison — accidentally ripping open wormholes across space in the process. Mario, Luigi, Peach, Toad, and their new friend Yoshi hijack a spaceship and blast off to collect Grand Stars and stop the chaos.

The film is based on the beloved 2007 video game *Super Mario Galaxy* and its 2010 sequel, with a score by Brian Tyler performed by a 70-piece orchestra featuring re-recorded themes from the Galaxy series.
