## A Clever Bridge Between Two Worlds

Having the live-action cast step into the voice booth is a smart move by Netflix, tying its hit adaptation of the [One Piece](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/One_Piece) manga directly to this new animated spin-off. It’s also a notable moment for newcomers Charithra Chandran and Mikaela Hoover, who join the LEGO special ahead of their expected live-action debuts in future seasons — Chandran reportedly reacted to the news on social media with excitement.

## Mark Your Calendars

Fans won’t have to wait long to see the minifigures in motion. The **first official trailer drops July 20, 2026**, with the full animated special set to premiere globally on Netflix on **September 29, 2026**.
