As we know NVIDIA has already launched its RTX 4090 GPU in its next-gen Ada Lovelace family of graphics cards, and now they are very expensive in the retail market prior to the official release, now interesting benchmarks are coming up in the media. Thanks to the ever-reliable @TUM_APISAK, we have a new benchmark leak of the upcoming RTX 4090.
The beastly RTX 4090 comes with a total of 16,384 CUDA cores and 128 of the 144 SMs, making it even more powerful than the last RTX 3090 Ti. The GeForce RTX 4090 will offer 24 GB of GDDR6X memory that is clocked at 21 Gbps across a 384-bit bus interface. This will offer bandwidth of up to 1 TB/s.
Yes, it’s not cheap, starting at Rs. 1,55,000 in India from October 12th, we now have a 4K gaming benchmark which will give a good idea when compared to its predecessor.
As we see in the Ashes of Singularity benchmark in 4K resolution, the RTX 4090 is 20% faster than the RTX 3090, which was already a deadly GPU back in 2020 and is also 15% faster than the RTX 3090 Ti launched later. While these are raw benchmarks in older games it will be interesting to see how the RTX 4090 performs in modern games with DLSS 3 and Ray tracing.
