Ahead of its September premiere, “The Ordinary Jackpot” has released new character stills spotlighting the full lineup of Sales Team 5 — the mismatched office crew at the heart of this refreshingly grounded workplace drama. And based on these first looks, tension and heart are both on the menu.

## What “The Ordinary Jackpot” Is About

The series follows **Gong Eun Tae (Lee Jun Hyuk)**, an ordinary sales employee who wins a 1.3 billion won lottery jackpot (roughly $950,000). Instead of quitting or dramatically overhauling his life, he shows up to work the very next day — just with a completely different outlook. It’s a workplace drama that trades escapism for something more relatable: quiet, internal change.

## The Ordinary Jackpot: Meet Sales Team 5

| Character | Actor | Role |
| --- | --- | --- |
| Gong Eun Tae | Lee Jun Hyuk | Team leader, newly transformed after his win |
| Yang Joon Ho | Seo Hyun Woo | Senior assistant manager, frustrated by being outranked |
| Park Ki Tae | Hong Jin Ki | Ambitious, enthusiastic new employee |
| Lee Ji Hye | Ha Yul Ri | Diligent contract employee chasing a permanent role |

## The Dynamics Driving the Team

The new stills lean into contrast. Gong Eun Tae keeps his emotions carefully suppressed behind a calm exterior, while Yang Joon Ho — technically his subordinate, but senior in tenure — wears his dissatisfaction openly, often pushing his own team leader around. That tension sets the tone for the show’s central workplace friction.

Meanwhile, the newcomers bring their own energy. Park Ki Tae is the eager rookie hoping for “lottery-level” teammates, bringing enthusiasm despite his inexperience. Lee Ji Hye, on the other hand, is quietly diligent, treating every note she takes as a step toward job security in a competitive office. Together, the four make up a team that starts off clashing — but is clearly being built toward growth.

As lead actor Lee Jun Hyuk put it, “At first, they don’t quite get along and seem to clash with one another, but I hope you’ll enjoy watching them gradually get to know each other and find their rhythm.” Co-star Seo Hyun Woo added that the show will tackle “mishaps that anyone with a corporate job can relate to — or perhaps ones that will make you break out in a cold sweat.”
