The new Vivo Y51 launched with Android 10 based Funtouch OS 10 at $220

Vivo unveiled the Y51 handset back in 2015 with Snapdragon 410 SoC, however, today Vivo has been announced the new Vivo Y51 in Pakistan which is a totally modified version of the old one. We also have got the basic specifications of this handset. So, let’s check out those specifications.

Specifications of Vivo Y51:

The new Vivo Y51 comes with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 665 SoC and runs on Android 10 based Funtouch OS 10, which naturally gives a better performance than the old version of Y51. The SoC is equipped with 4GB RAM and 128GB of inbuilt storage, while users can expand the internal capacity up to 256GB via a MicroSD card.

Regarding the display, the phone features a 6.83″ Full HD+ Ace AMOLED with 1080p resolution and has a teardrop notch display, whereas, the old version of the Y51 featured a 5″ display. The new Vivo Y51 has a 90% screen to body resolution and an under-screen fingerprint scanner.

Now enlighten the camera part, the phone comes with a quad rear back camera, includes- 48 megapixels of the primary shooter, alongside an 8MP ultra-wide lens, 2MP macro sensor, and another 2MP depth sensor. The rear camera lenses are aligned in a diamond-shaped plate on the backside. These are joined by an LED flash and further below is a text that reads.’Camera & Music’. On the front, the phone has a teardrop notch on the display to hold a 16MP selfie camera.

Regarding the camera specification, the quad rear camera of this phone is featured Super Night mode for a brighter and clearer picture, and Ultra-stable video mode to minimize the haziness of a video during capture.

The new Vivo Y51 is backed by a decent battery of 4,500mAh with support of 18W charge through a USB Type-C charger.

The new Vivo Y51 comes in three different color variants- Mystic Black, Jazzy Blue, and Dreamy White. The phone is set to be priced at PKR 36,999($220) and is up for pre-order in Pakistan till 18th September, and the sales will be started from 19th September.
