The new teardown video gives a detailed description of the internals of the M1 iPad Pro

Apple shocked everyone when it launched its M1-powered iPad Pro with mini-LED in April at its Spring Loaded event. M1 processor in itself is a huge development which Apple added in its iPad Pro, but it also adopted the mini-LED technology for a better viewing experience.

In a recent teardown video, iFixit has shown how the mini-LED works under the hood and other details. The new teardown aims to provide details on the working of the mini-LED display, battery capacity, and much more.

From the video, we found that the mini-LED display is slightly thicker than the Liquid Retina Display from the company’s previous models. in the teardown video, it is also mentioned that the new iPad is also a little heavier than its previous models.

iFixit has magnificently explained the functionality of the mini-LED display and how it differs from the traditional LED display. The new mini-LED display bolsters enhanced contrast and picture quality thanks to 5,596 dimming zones. In addition, you can check out the video below.

The liquid Retina display features a single stripe of bigger LEDs along the side; however, not all the details are covered in the video. Likewise, Hi-res pictures of components and other extrinsic details have not been covered in the text form. Potentially, we will see the complete teardown in the company days.

It is still too early to reach a complete verdict on the actual performance of the M1-powered iPad Pro. However, since the device has entered into mass production and will soon be available for shipment, we can expect more juicy details to come online about what is being termed as the most powerful tablet currently existing in the market.
