Netflix’s new YA drama, *The Map of Longing*, delivers an emotional punch through a sisterly bond forged in grief. While Alicia Falcó shines, the narrative plays it safe, sticking to predictable genre tropes. It’s a beautifully intimate watch, yet lacks the daring edge needed to truly stand out. Perfect for a cozy weekend, but don’t expect a total genre revolution.
