Moises Caicedo is a name that has slowly started getting etched on the lips of football fans, particularly those of Manchester United.

The teenager was recently tipped with completing a move to Manchester United by Fabrizio Romano, with the transfer guru mentioning that while United had an advantage in the negotiations, they were still contemplating whether or not to go all-in for the youngster.

Many fans have mistakenly made the situation very similar to that of Amad Diallo, who is scheduled to join the Red side of Manchester when the winter transfer window opens. The club is allowed to register players once again.

However, speaking on the Here We Go podcast on Patreon, Fabrizio Romano and Francesco Porzio made it clear that the club was yet to complete the signing and that they hadn’t paid up for Caicedo yet. Moreover, many big clubs in Europe are slowly starting to turn their attention to the teenage sensation.

England’s work permit situation will also play a part in the arrival of the winger from Ecuador should any Premier League club be successful in signing him. The player is reportedly keen on joining one of the world’s biggest clubs, and he has several suitors to choose from.

Romano and Porzio have promised an update in the next few days, which could see the Independiente De Valle winger possibly agree a deal to move.
