## *The Last Sunrise* OTT Release Date

Here’s the key update: **Amazon/Prime Video has not formally announced an exact OTT release date for *The Last Sunrise***. Coverage from Swooon notes that Prime Video had only given a broad release window rather than a locked date.

That said, several third-party entertainment listings now show **July 17, 2026** for the film, with JustWatch stating that the movie is “coming to theaters” on that date while also noting that **the streaming release date has not been announced yet**. Plex and AdoroCinema also list July 17, 2026, with AdoroCinema specifically labeling it a Prime Video release date. Because Prime Video itself has not publicly confirmed the exact day, the safest takeaway is this: **July 17, 2026 is the date currently appearing on major third-party listings, but an official OTT confirmation from Prime Video is still awaited**.

## What the first-look images reveal

The new images underline the film’s sun-soaked European romance angle. The first-look material shows Maia Reficco’s **Oriah “Ry” Pera** and Fernando Lindez’s **Julián** in Mallorca, emphasizing the chemistry between the two leads and the warm, escapist tone of the adaptation. Swooon previously reported that preview footage included Ry swimming, partying in a club, kissing Julián, and clashing with her mother’s warning not to fall for a Spaniard.

The visual approach appears to lean into scenic beaches, intimate summer moments, and a more emotional coming-of-age mood than a conventional glossy romance. That makes sense given the source novel’s mix of longing, health struggles, overprotective parenting, and a young woman trying to reclaim control of her life. This last observation is an inference based on the published synopsis and first-look materials.
