HBO has dropped a new trailer that offers some fresh footage having a host of new shows appear on the premium cable network containing the most anticipated adaptation of ‘The Last of Us’. The new series exposes some footage including Pedro Pascal as Jolie and Bella Ramsey as Ellie. The show teased some of the game’s notorious visit into life. The new show has prominently featured in the video.
Previously, we have seen new content coming to their service, The Last of Us is mainly the first thing to be shown, visit just right before the new footage belongs to Succession season 4. This is the first series become the first to arrive, with the big spot shows as confident as HBO is in the material.
After getting such a blockbuster and critical success of his HBO miniseries Chernobyl, Primetime Emmy winner Craig Mazin executive produced the show along with the creator of the game, Neil Druckmann.
He has also directed an episode of the show. The brand-new ensemble cast for the series also contains Gabriel Luna as Tommy, Anna Torv as Tess, Nico Parker as Sarah, Murray Bartlett as Frank, Nick Offerman as Bill, Melanie Lynskey as Kathleen, Storm Reid as Riley, Merle Dandridge as Marlene, Jeffrey Pierce as Perry, Lamar Johnson as Henry, Keivonn Woodard as Sam, Graham Greene as Marlon, and Elaine Miles as Florence. The original game stars Ashley Johnson and Troy Baker, having played the part of Ellie and Joel in both video games, are also set to appear.
While speaking on the adaptation at CCXP, Pascal has been credited to his co-star for helping him enter into the character, by crediting their strong bond on making the series to become easier to make. “It helped a lot to have Bella Ramsey navigate the world of The Last of Us,” Pascal added. “We were stepping into this experience at the same time…there was an immediate bond.” Ramsey added, “To make Joel laugh is I think, Ellie’s greatest achievement.”
