The LaLiga title race is only getting more tense as the season ends

Here's the LaLiga Starting XI in FIFA 21

With only 6 matchdays left in LaLiga, the race for the league title has not been this hot in recent memory. Only six points separate Atletico Madrid, who sit at the top of the table, from Sevilla who are in fourth. The places in between are occupied by Real Madrid and Barcelona respectively.

The Catalonian club have a game in hand, and if they win it, they could leapfrog Real Madrid into second place, but will still remain two points short of Atletico. They won their last match in stunning fashion, with the scoreline reading 5-2 against Getafe.

Barcelona will also have more momentum given that they just captured this season’s Copa del Rey, and will look to secure the domestic double which is well within their reach.

Real Madrid, on the other hand, trail their city rivals by 3 points. But, they will slowly start to welcome back players from their long injury list, which is well needed at this stage in the season. Los Blancos fared well in their most recent outing against Cadiz away from home, winning 3-0.

Atletico too, enjoyed good fortune in their previous game against Huesca with a 2-0 victory. They will be handicapped in the offence for the last part of the season, though, with top scorer Luis Suarez effectively ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.

All three big clubs have had to endure a drop in form at some point in the season, which has only made for more engaging viewing for the fans. But now that the season is at its business end, every point and every game is valuable and will decide who ultimately goes on to clinch the league title at the end of it all.
