South Korean cinema history has been rewritten! The 2026 blockbuster *The King’s Warden* has surged to second place, clocking a massive 16.9 million admissions. It now trails only the legendary *The Admiral: Roaring Currents*. By tracking admissions rather than revenue, the industry ensures a fair playing field for classics. Will this new epic eventually claim the top spot? Stay tuned!
