Disney + Hotstar has dropped the new trailer of the web series The Great Indian Murder that just has been released online. It is a mystery thriller series. In this show, we will see Richa Chadha and Pratik Gandhi will play the role of the investigating officers. This show is definitely a high-profile killing thriller that has been revolved around Vikas Swarup’s best-selling novel of Six Suspects.
The Great Indian Murder: Plot
The story of the show follows Vicky Rai who is a cunning 32-year-old owner of the Rai Group of Industries and son of the Home Minister of Chhattisgarh, Jagannath Rai. The twist comes when Vicky gets murdered in cold blood at the party that has been thrown by him celebrating in his acquittal of the rape and murder case of the two shelter homegirls.
This Six Suspect has been surrounded by his murder come under the radar of the investigation of the case by officers DCP Sudha Bhardwaj and Suraj Yadav of Central Bureau of Investigation.
We will see that the case of Vicky is also about to put an unintended halt in his father, Jagannath Rai’s political career that he has been tried to conquer by fair or foul that indicates even after the death of Vicky. This show is also about exploring many versions of the single murder and the story b that Sudha and Suraj waving through their investigations.

This web series has been directed by Tigmanshu Dhulia and produced by Ajay Devgn and Priti Vinay Sinha. It is featuring Ashutosh Rana, Shashank Arora, Raghubir Yadav, Paoli Dam, Jatin Goswami.
We will see Richa who is playing the role of DCP Sudha Bhardwaj stated that h she just knew instantly her desire to become a part of the show after reading the script. She said, “ Each character in this series has an intense motive and justification for their actions- it is somewhat relatable, yet nerve-wracking. It is an exemplary example of a thriller series writing that only Tigmanshu Dhulia could have pulled off! Can’t wait to see the audience’s reaction to it,”
Pratik who is playing the role of a CBI officer said that he become to be ‘very thoughtful’ in the case of selecting his next web series and that The Great Indian Murder seemed like his right choice. On talking about his character, he said that it was a ‘whole new challenge’ for him. He added, “ He is someone who represents the law but never shies away from breaking or mending it to ease his way. This grey layer and his easy transition in between the dark and the light sides make him special and very human,”
The Great Indian Murder: Release Date
This new web series will start to stream from 4th February 2022. It will be available in Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, and also Bengali languages.
