The former AMD Global Vice President of China R&D Li Xinrong joins Wall Technologies

AMD’s deal to acquire Xilinx enters the second phase in China

Recently, it has been announced that Mr Allen Lee has joined Wall Technologies as the Co-CEO, focusing on organization, management and product design. It is being reported that Mr Li Xinrong’s addition will further strengthen the team strength of Wall Technology.

Having more than 30 years of experience in the GPU field, Mr Li has spent around 15 years at AMD, that’s over a decade of GPU innovation at AMD. He was the Global Vice President and General Manager of the China Research and Development Center for AMD.

So, he was responsible for research & development and construction and management of AMD Greater China. As ITHome reports, the man was built a research and development team of thousands of people and achieved a major breakthrough in the team’s research and development capabilities from a single project to covering the “end-to-end” complete project process.

The team size of Wall Technology has been reported to exceed 500 people, the first product development has successfully entered the last stage, and will be scheduled to start streaming in the third quarter of this year. It will be interesting to see how Li Xinrong brings innovation at the company and AMD replaces him.
