Realme Book Slim launched in India starting at Rs.44,999

Now, coming to the recently launched Realme Book Slim, this is another laptop that is also quite premium in terms of design and further enhances the price-to-spec ratio.

The Realme Book Slim comes with a 14″ 2K Full Vision IPS display with a peak brightness of 400 nits. It has a display that comes with a 3:2 aspect ratio. The laptop has a metal body that provides a 90% screen-to-body ratio and a 100% sRGB colour gamut. Also, it will be one of the slimmest and lightest laptops in India, with a thickness of 14.9mm.

With Intel Iris Xe graphics, you also have Wi-Fi 6 technology for connectivity and a Thunderbolt 4 port to charge the battery; the 65W charger provides up to 50% of charge in just 30 minutes. Also, the Realme Book Slim provides an incredible battery life of up to 11 hours; not to forget, you have a backlit keyboard and two Harman Kardon speakers that support DTS Audio.

The laptop comes at a starting price of 44,999 INR for the basic version that features an Intel Core i3 processor with 8GB RAM along 256GB SSD, while the one with an Intel Core i5 processor with 8GB RAM and 512GB SSD is priced at 56,999 INR. Overall, again the Realme Book Slim is another great laptop for the price and goes to show the fierce competition in the mid-range laptop market in India.

Also, Xiaomi will unveil another premium Mi Notebook, which is suspected of having better build quality, design and better display & overall specs on August 26th. So, you get an idea of how these smartphone companies are attracting more customers to be a part of their expanding AIoT ecosystem.

So, this will force laptop giants to lower their pricing or bring better specs in laptops at more competitive prices. Overall, as a consumer, this is a good time as with healthy competition we will see the best out of all existing OEMs while these smartphone companies offering value-for-money products for end-users.
