## What Is The East Palace About?

The drama follows Gu Cheon, who can traverse the world of ghosts, and Saeng Gang, a court lady with the ability to hear ghosts, as they are summoned by the King to unearth the cursed palace’s secrets.

The stakes could not be higher. In the teaser, a ghost’s voice echoes in the King’s ear, declaring it will wipe out the King’s bloodline. Sensing that what happened 30 years ago is now repeating itself within the palace, the King summons ghost hunter Gu Cheon and assigns Saeng Gang to keep a close watch on him.

What follows is a journey that crosses the very line between life and death. As the deep-seated grudges and secrets buried beneath the royal family slowly become unveiled, the palace gradually falls into uncontrollable chaos. #### What the Main Poster Reveals

The main poster features Gu Cheon standing in the middle of a pond shrouded in the red aura of the spirit world, while Saeng Gang pulls on a thick rope tied around him — a striking visual that immediately establishes their dynamic: one who enters the darkness, and one who pulls him back from it. With Cho Seung Woo adding gravitas as the burdened King, and only 8 tightly packed episodes to unravel every secret, The East Palace looks set to be a gripping, fast-paced watch from start to finish.
