The Clubhouse is officially open for Android users, and the beta is live in the US

The clubhouse is an invitation-only social media app for iOS that facilitates auditory communication through rooms that can accommodate groups of up to 5,000 people. The audio-only app hosts virtual rooms for live discussions, with opportunities for individuals to participate through speaking and listening.

The amazing is finally and officially available as a beta on the Android operating system. However, the app remains US-only access for now but is soon to roll out for global users. But some tech enthusiasts have found a way to overcome the US limitations.

You can install the app by sideloading the Clubhouse APK in regions where the app is not available. This will allow you to reserve your username and join the waitlist for an invite.

Android has many social media platforms with Clubhouse-like drop-in-drop-out voice chat features, but the app has been highly anticipated on Android. Even though its a menial decrease in the subscribers counts on iOS, the platform is much welcomed by the Android community, which may increase the number of users of the iOS version.

The app has first rolled out as a beta in the US and is expected to be launched in other English-speaking regions over the coming weeks. Reports suggest that the UK, Australia, the Republic of Ireland, and New Zealand will be among the “English-speaking countries” to get the app next.

Today, we are thrilled to share that Clubhouse for Android will start rolling out in beta immediately. We will begin gradually, with the U.S. today, followed by other English-speaking countries and then the rest of the world.

The developers have stated that the beta will be followed by a full stables Android release after they have collected “feedback from the community,” and features including “payments and club creation” will also be integrated before the wider release.
