THE BOYZ member **Hyunjae** (real name **Lee Jae-hyun**) has signed an exclusive contract with **Jellyfish Entertainment** for his acting career.

On May 6, 2026, Jellyfish Entertainment officially announced the news, stating they will fully support Hyunjae’s growth as an actor. He will continue his activities as a member of THE BOYZ under IST Entertainment, while managing his acting projects separately under Jellyfish.

Hyunjae has been steadily building his acting profile with roles in dramas such as *The Midnight Romance in Hagwon*, web series, and various entertainment programs. Jellyfish Entertainment, home to strong actors like VIXX’s former members, Kim Jae-joong, and Park Ji-bin, is expected to provide him with more substantial acting opportunities moving forward.

In their official statement, Jellyfish Entertainment said:

> “We are pleased to welcome Lee Jae-hyun as a new member of our family. We will do our best to support his passion and growth as an actor.”

This dual-contract arrangement (group activities under one agency, acting under another) has become increasingly common among idols looking to expand their careers in both fields.

Fans have reacted warmly to the announcement, expressing excitement for Hyunjae’s future acting projects while continuing to support him as a member of THE BOYZ.
