Cinema history shifted when Thalapathy Vijay nearly skipped *Beast*. Composer GV Prakash revealed that Vetrimaaran and Sudha Kongara originally planned a project with Vijay, but their year-long script development stalled. The star pivoted to Nelson’s *Beast* instead.
