Ripple Effect’s secret game mode for the game Battlefield 2042 is officially called Battlefield Portal. EA announced that they are going to feature remastered maps which are from previous titles in the Battlefield franchise. After seeing the presentation of developers, we all can say that these maps are the tip of the iceberg, there are lots more in the game.
The battlefield portal will feature six remastered maps. In those maps two maps are from Battlefield Bad Company 2, another two are from Battlefield 3 and the last two are from Battlefield 1942. These maps are upgraded to the new Battlefield 2042’s standard. These Battlefield 1942 maps are receiving proper destructibility which is not present in the original.
In this map, there will be weapons like M1 Garand, G3, M416, etc. There will be more than 40 weapons available which are from the three different war theaters. In these maps, there will be more than 40 vehicles like Spitfire, Bomber, Little Bird, etc and more than 30 gadgets like Radio beacon, EOD bot, etc are available. The soldier archetypes and classic faction will also be available on this map.
As cool or exciting as all these new things sound, the builder of the game is the one who is truly making the Battlefield portal better. Those who don’t even have ownership of Battlefield 2042, can be able to go to the platform’s website and create a different experience on this unique game.
The Battlefield 2042 will be launch on 22nd October but fans will get the game with an open beta. This is scheduled for September.
