The Hyundai Alacazar has been upgraded by Hyundai Motor India for 2023 with a new engine, improved features, and a fresh look. The business has begun taking reservations for a symbolic sum of 25,000 INR.

According to the company website, the new Alcazar has a 1.5 Turbo GDi Petrol engine that would be RDE compliant and ready for E20 gasoline, as well as a new front fascia. Together with the two other engines now included with the Alcazar, the business will introduce a new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine. The Alcazar SUV will feature Hyundai’s new 1.5-liter turbo-petrol engine with 160 horsepower.
In addition to having an integrated start-stop technology, the new turbo-petrol engine, which replaces the 2.0 petrol engine, produces a maximum of 159 PS and a maximum of 253 Nm of torque. A 7-speed DCT and a 6-speed manual transmission will both be available for the new powerplant.
Hyundai Alcazar has undergone major design improvements, including the addition of a new front grille that improves the SUV’s appearance for its 6 and 7-seat configuration. A brand new puddle lamp logo with the word “ALCAZAR” is added on top of that. The new SUV has six airbags as well as rear and front parking sensors, a 360-degree camera, ESC, VSM, TPMS, and Hill Assist Control as safety features.
In order to enhance Grand Experiences with this new generation transportation solution, Tarun Garg, Chief Operational Officer of Hyundai Motor India Ltd., claimed that the Hyundai Alcazar’s design had been improved and new technologies had been added.
The price of the 2023 Hyundai Alcazar has not yet been made public, but the SUV’s previous model had a price range of ₹16.10 lakh to ₹21.10 lakh (ex-showroom). In the Indian market, the Alcazar will face competition from vehicles such as the Mahindra Scorpio-N, XUV700, MG Hector Plus, Tata Safari, and the former.
