Teun Koopmeiners has made it known that he wishes to depart from Atalanta once the season concludes, with Juventus and clubs from the Premier League showing an interest.

The Dutch midfielder’s impressive performances in Serie A have not gone unnoticed, attracting attention from major teams for a summer transfer. At 26, Koopmeiners expressed his desire to exit Atalanta in a telegraaf.nl interview, citing previous interest from Napoli that didn’t culminate in a transfer due to the clubs not reaching an agreement.

“I’ve informed Atalanta of my decision to leave in the summer,” the midfielder declared. Despite enjoying life in Italy, he’s open to moving, especially to England, regardless of the weather. Koopmeiners acknowledged the buzz around his potential move to Juventus and the Premier League, hoping Atalanta benefits financially from his departure.

Teun Koopmeiners’ Performance and Atalanta‘s Valuation

Having netted 12 goals in 34 matches in all competitions this season, including a memorable double against Juventus during a league match two weeks prior, Koopmeiners’ prowess has been on full display.

His performance in Turin caught the eyes of scouts, including those from Liverpool and Tottenham, who are also considering a bid for him. Italian media sources report that Atalanta values Koopmeiners at €60m, setting the stage for a hotly contested transfer battle in the upcoming window.

The midfielder is reaching the peak of his abilities and could be a valuable addition for any team at this stage. It will be interesting to see which team pounces on the opportunity to sign the player, even though his signature won’t come cheap.
