Tesla’s smartphone app, which owners use to unlock, start, and control their cars, was unable to connect to the servers. due to this several users were locked out of their electric vehicles.

The disruptions were widespread, with customers reporting problems in the United States, Canada, Europe, and Asia.

Everything is back on track again, regardless of the fact that the issue continued for the greater part of Friday. Tesla CEO Elon Musk responded to a consumer complaint on Twitter by blaming the issue on “increasing verbosity of network traffic.”

Data logs are frequently kept by programmes to aid in mistake detection. Companies can use “verbose mode” in some circumstances to make the data logs include a lot more information to locate the specific problem.

Activating this feature, which is often known as boosting the verbosity, increases the size of logs significantly, making them considerably more bandwidth-intensive.
