Tesla is the leading brand that manufactures Electric Vehicles and plans to revolutionize its cutting-edge innovations. Company’s CEO Elon Musk announced earlier that he intends to launch Tesla vehicles in India next year.
Following this announcement from Tesla’s CEO, Maharashtra’s tourism and environment minister, Aaditya Thackeray, has claimed that he and the industries minister, Subhash Desai, has held a video conference with the Tesla executives and have successfully invited them to the state.
The minister claimed that his firm belief in sustainable and environment-friendly growth has made him active in bringing the electric vehicle maker in the country. Aditya Thackeray stated that “I was present not because of just the investment but my firm belief in electric mobility & sustainability.”
On the other hand, Musk replied to a tweet from The Tesla Club India wrote: “next year for sure.” However, he failed to offer an official timeline for the proposed launch. It is worth noting that Musk announced its plan to launch the companies vehicles in the country last year.
The company has been experimenting with cutting-edge technologies to develop more environmentally friendly vehicles that help preserve our environment.
In a country like India, where the population is the world’s second-largest, pollution is supreme. The government taking the initiative to bring the EV company in the country will aid in environmental protection and increase its jobs.
Establishing EVs’ sales is essential, but what’s more important is setting up a manufacturing plant. Due to the pandemic raging strong, unemployment has reigned supreme in the country. If Tesla establishes its production house in the country, it will boost our economy by increasing the citizens’ job opportunities. Our government finally taking a step towards the future of tech is a notable achievement, but it shouldn’t stop with only just Tesla.
