The stars, as well as fans, have been wishing for a return ever since the show’s series finale. One fan, Tyler, stated to MTV that “it’s time” for the show to return via Twitter in March 2020.

In October 2020, the actor-turned-musician stated in a different interview with Entertainment Tonight, “I love Teen Wolf, and during the lockdown, I actually rewatched the entire thing and I fell in love with it even more.” It is excellent. It is excellent. I’m really impressed and proud.
Tyler’s wish was granted after years of inspiring his Teen Wolf fan base. In September 2021, it was announced that some of the original stars would reprise their role for the Paramount+ film, Teen Wolf: The Movie.
