Tecno has launched the Spark 9T in India, however, this version is much different from the one that we saw released in Nigeria. The latest smartphone arrives with the Helio G35 chip as opposed to the G37 that the Nigerian model had. Let us take a detailed look at the specs of this device.

The Spark 9T arrives with an LCD FullHD+ display that measures 6.6″ and has a refresh rate of 60Hz. The pixel density has been bumped p to 401ppi from 266ppi on the Indian variant. It has a peak brightness of 500 nits. The display arrives with a waterdrop notch for the selfie shooter.
In the optics department, there is a 50MP primary sensor with a 2MP portrait sensor and an AI lens. On the front, we see an 8MP selfie shooter, a massive downgrade when compared to the 32MP shooter the Nigerian variant had.
The Tecno Spark 9T runs on Android 12 OS with HiOS 7.6 on top, the Indian version gets a MicroUSB port as opposed to the USB Type-C port. In terms of battery life, it has a 5,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging.
Apart from this, we see a 3.5mm audio jack, an IPX2 splash resistance rating, and DTS Stereo Sound. There is also a “smart anti-oil” side-mounted fingerprint scanner that will unlock the device in just 0.24 seconds. It can also be used to shut alarms and answer phone calls. It also serves as a shutter button for the camera to click pictures.
In terms of pricing, the device arrives in a 4GB RAM+64GB storage variant, the RAM can be expanded up to 7GB RAM and there is also a provision for a dedicated microSD card slot via which the memory can be expanded to 512GB. The device is available in Turquoise Cyan, Atlantic Blue, Iris Purple, and Tahiti Gold. It retails for Rs.9,299 and will go on sale via Amazon.in.
