Tecno has unveiled a new budget 5G smartphone in India. The Tecno Pova Neo 5G is the second 5G smartphone from the company after the Tecno Pova 5G. It is now available for pre-booking at retail stores and will be available for purchase from September 26, 2022.
The Tecno Pova Neo 5G features a MediaTek chipset, a high-refresh-rate panel, a massive battery, and a dual-camera setup. Let’s have a look at its detailed specifications.
Tecno Pova Neo 5G Specifications
The Pova Neo 5G features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,460 pixels) LTPS display with a 120Hz refresh rate and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It runs on Android 12-based Hi OS 8.6. The smartphone comes with a new design that looks cleaner and more minimal than its predecessor. It sports a punch-hole panel on the front and has a patterned design on the back.
This handset sports a 50MP AI dual rear camera setup and an AI sensor that is coupled with an LED flash module. For selfies and video calls, the phone carries an 8MP selfie camera on the front with an f/2.0 aperture.
The Pova Neo 5G is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC that is paired with a Mali G57 GPU. The Pova Neo 5G also comes with 128GB of storage that is expandable via a microSD card. The Tecno Pova Neo 5G packs a 6,000 mAh battery with 18W fast-charging support over a USB Type-C port.
The smartphone supports 2.4GHz and 5GHz dual-band Wi-Fi and Bluetooth v5.0 connectivity. The Tecno Pova Neo 5G is equipped with dual stereo speakers optimised by DTS Audio technology. It also sports a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.
The Tecno Pova Neo 5G comes in a single 4GB RAM + 128GB storage configuration that is priced at Rs. 15,499. Tecno offers this smartphone in Sapphire Black and Sprint Blue colours. It is currently available for pre-booking at retail stores and will go on sale in the country from September 26.
