TECNO has launched their latest offering, the Pova 3 in India today The smartphone is the successor to the Pova 2 that launched last year, and similar to its predecessor, the phone’s highlighting features are a large battery, fast charging support, and a massive display. The TECNO Pova 3 arrives with a 6.9″IPS LCD panel with a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels and an aspect ratio of 20.5:9. It has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a polycarbonate build. The smartphone maker has tried to give it a premium look by integrating a vertical LED strip that glows while charging and when you receive notifications.
The device is powered by MediaTek’s Helio G88 SoC that has been paired with 6GB RAM and up to 5GB of Virtual RAM along with 128GB internal storage. It runs on Android 12 OS with HiOS UI on top. Apart from this, the Pova 3 has the z-axis linear motor for a smooth gaming experience, dual stereo speakers with DTS sound effects, and a graphite cooling system for heat dissipation.
In terms of optics, the phone has an 8MP selfie shooter with LED on the front while we see a triple camera setup on the rear featuring a 50MP primary sensor along with two secondary auxiliary sensors. As per the company, one full charge of Tecno’s latest phone will offer 55 days of standby time, 30 hours of video playback time, and 14 hours of gaming. For biometrics, there is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Pova 3 carries a respectable price tag of Rupees 11,499 and the first sale will happen on the 27th of June via Amazon and it is available in Electric Blue, Tech Silver, and Eco Black colors.
