The Phantom V2 Fold, Tecno’s second-generation foldable, is anticipated to arrive in Q1 of this year and is most likely to make its premiere at this year’s MWC 2024 in Barcelona. The phone was stopped by Geekbench before the announcement, revealing some of its specifications.
It was previously seen in the IMEI database and goes by the name Phantom V2 Fold. The device’s primary hardware specifications have now been made public on the benchmarking website Geekbench. Tecno released the world’s first foldable phone in March of last year.

AE10 is the model number of the Tecno Phantom V2 Fold. According to MySmartPrice’s analysis of the Geekbench listing, the phone is powered by an octa-core CPU, which is likely the MediaTek Dimensity 9000+ SoC. The chipset features a primary core clocked at up to 3.20 GHz, three cores clocked at 2.85 GHz, and four cores clocked at 1.8 GHz. The Mali-G710 MC2 GPU is disclosed in the source code part.
The Tecno Phantom V Fold is one of the most affordable clamshell smartphones available in India, and the manufacturer probably intends to build on this success. Tecno may be able to maintain the price of the V2 Fold similarly near to that of its predecessor, which was introduced with a starting price of Rs 88,888, by sticking with the same chipset.
Although the company hasn’t yet disclosed a launch date. The foldable could go on sale as early as Q1 2024, according to GSMChina. Like with the previous MWC, there’s a potential we’ll hear about an announcement around MWC 2024.
