The Tecno Phantom V Flip 5G, Tecno’s first flip phone, has officially gone on sale. The Phantom V Flip has a 1.32-inch cover circular display on the back and an ELLA GPT 3.0 voice assistant, which is an AI-based system that is said to give a conversationally adept chat experience.

The Flexible Hoverlock design of the Phantom V Flip’s palm-sized, 3D-curved body allows it to be altered at flexible angles of 30-150 degrees. The foldable has an elegant leather back panel with a lychee motif. High-strength, ultra-thin glass, and a self-designed, drop-shaped hinge enable the Tecno Phantom V Flip to operate without creasing.
The smartphone’s 1.32-inch cover display has an AMOLED panel with a 466 x 466 resolution. The phone has an internal 6.9-inch FHD+ (1080 x 2460 pixels) flexible LTPO AMOLED display with a 20.5:9 aspect ratio, 1000 nits peak brightness, and up to 120 Hz refresh rate. The manufacturer guarantees that the display will be almost crease-free even after 200,000 folds.
It has a spherical cover screen called “The Planet” and an integrated camera module with a picture of an “Asteroid Belt.” To increase the feeling of luxury, the brand has utilized fine vegan leather with a characteristic lychee design on the back.

The Phantom V Flip 5G comes with a MediaTek Dimensity 8050 5G processor together with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of storage. For the uninitiated, the Dimensity 8050 is essentially a rebranded version of the Dimensity 1300 SoC, which is constructed with TSMC’s N6 (6nm) technology.
