TECNO debuted its TECNO CAMON 17 series in India, they have introduced two models for the country, TECNO CAMON 17 and the TECNO CAMON 17 Pro. These phones offer high refresh rates, amazing MediaTek chipsets, and high-resolution cameras.
Both the devices will go on sale from July 26th on Amazon. The retailer will be offering a 10% discount on HDFC Bank debit/credit cards and EMI. The customers who will buy the TECNO CAMON 17 Pro will get a pair of TECNO Ear Buds 1 as a freebie.
TECNO Camon 17 Pro
The TECNO Camon 17 Pro features a 6.8″ punch-hole LCD panel with a resolution of 1080 x 2460 pixels, it features an FHD+ screen. It has a refresh rate of 90Hz and a bright display of 500 nits peak brightness with an 82% screen-to-body ratio.
The TECNO Camon 17 Pro will have a quad-camera setup with a 64MP main sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide sensor, a 2MP depth sensor, and a 2MP monochrome sensor. It will come with a 48MP selfie shooter.
The Pro model will come with a MediaTek Helio G95 SoC and has 128GB of storage in India and will have 8GB RAM. The TECNO 17 Pro will run HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11 and is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 33W fast charging.
The TECNO Camon 17 Pro will retail for Rs.16,999 for the 8GB+128GB variant and will release in an Arctic Down colorway.
TECNO Camon 17
TECNO Camon 17 features a 6.6″ screen with a punch-hole LCD panel with a resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels, 261 PPI, and a 90Hz refresh rate. The screen will have 450 nits peak brightness and a 90Hz screen-to-body ratio. It will have a triple-camera setup with a 48MP main sensor, a 2MP depth sensor along a QVGA sensor. It has a 16MP front camera.
The Camon 17 will come with a MediaTek Helio G85 SoC and a 6BB+128GB configuration. It will also run on HiOS 7.6 based on Android 11 and has a 5,00mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging.
The device supports dual-sim, 4G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It has a MicroUSB port instead of a USB Type-C port like the Pro version.
The TECNO Camon 17 will release at a price of 12,999 INR for the 6GB+128GB variant and will release in Frost Silver, Spruce Green, and Magnet Black.
