### 3 Moments That Made Us Cry (in the Best Way)

**The Shoemaker Ghost’s Farewell** — The resolution of the elderly shoemaker’s case (cameo by Lee Deok Hwa) is genuinely moving. Despite his Alzheimer’s, the ghost never forgot the love of his life — and it is through one final pair of handcrafted shoes that his wife realises she was always his whole world. The son, initially resistant, ultimately chose kindness over assets — just like his father would have. A separated mother and son are reunited, and justice, in its most human form, prevails.

**The Slow-Burn Romance Finally Simmers** — Na Hyun (Esom) has been quietly falling for I Rang, and watching her guard finally come down is quietly satisfying. I Rang even gathers the courage to confess — only to be interrupted by a new ghost possession at the worst possible moment. Their awkward aftermath is charming, because that’s precisely what two introverts in love look like.

**A Ghost Boy, Pizza, and Pure Gold** — I Rang letting a young boy’s ghost inhabit his body just so the child can play with his niece and eat pizza is peak Shin I Rang energy. Yoo Yeon Seok’s ability to shift from composed adult lawyer to mischievous kid in seconds is a masterclass in range, and a reminder of why this character is so easy to root for.

### 2 Moments That Had Us on the Edge of Our Seats

**Yang Byeong Il’s Mask Slips** — Yang Do Kyung (Kim Kyung Nam) always felt suspicious, but his father Yang Byeong Il (Choi Kwang Il) initially seemed like a different story. Not anymore. His unusual interest in I Rang’s deceased father and his constant visits to I Rang’s mother are starting to paint a very troubling picture. He may well be the one who framed I Rang’s father — and is now desperately trying to erase the evidence.

**The Cliffhanger Nobody Was Ready For** — After a gripping kidnapping rescue — where the boy ghost possessing I Rang’s body helps save another child — we are left with an image that defies belief: I Rang watching his own unconscious body lying in a hospital bed, with a devastated Han Na Hyun at his side. Is our ghost lawyer about to become a ghost himself?
