Unveiling TCL Tab 10 Gen2, Tab 10L, and RayNeo X2 AR Glasses

TCL recently conducted a significant global flagship product launch event, where a multitude of announcements took center stage. Having previously covered the introduction of the TCL 40 NxtPaper phones, let’s shift the focus towards shedding light on the TCL Tab 10 Gen2 and Tab 10L Android tablets, along with the unveiling of the RayNeo X2 augmented reality (AR) glasses.

The Upcoming TCL Tab 10 Gen2, Tab 10L, and RayNeo X2 AR Glasses

Starting with the TCL Tab 10 Gen2 and Tab 10L Gen2 tablets, the former boasts a 10.36-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1,200 x 2,000 pixels. Its performance is driven by a Helio P22T chipset paired with 4GB of RAM and storage options of 64GB or 128GB, expandable through a microSD card slot. This slim and lightweight tablet, measuring a mere 7.4mm in thickness and weighing 425 grams, features a 5MP front camera and an 8MP rear camera accompanied by an LED flash. Notably, the Tab 10 Gen2 supports stylus input and incorporates dual speakers.

On the other hand, the Tab 10L Gen2 offers a 10.1-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 800 x 1,200 pixels. It houses a MediaTek MT8766B chipset along with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of storage, expandable via the microSD slot. This tablet features 2MP cameras both on the front and back, in addition to dual speakers and a headphone jack. Running on Android 13, both tablets are equipped with 6,000 mAh batteries supporting 10W charging through USB-C.

The price points for these offerings stand at €169 for the TCL Tab 10 Gen2 and €109 for the Tab 10L Gen2. The availability of both tablets is slated for Europe in the near future. Moving on to the TCL RayNeo X2 AR glasses, these glasses are outfitted with binocular full-color microLED optical waveguide displays capable of up to 1,000 nits brightness. Powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon XR2 platform, these AR glasses are positioned by TCL as the ultimate smart assistant device.

Among its capabilities are real-time multi-language translation, navigation aided by interactive landmarks, video calls, and music playback through built-in speakers. The glasses even include a camera for capturing images and videos. A 590 mAh battery provides up to 3 hours of continuous usage. The TCL RayNeo X2 AR glasses will debut in China initially in the coming weeks, followed by a global release later in the year. This ambitious launch seeks to push the boundaries of augmented reality technology and its integration into our daily lives.
