According to The New York Times, Taylor Swift Touring recently confirmed, that the Eras Tour has grossed a staggering $2,077,618,725 in ticket sales, making it—to this point—the highest-grossing tour of all time, earning double the ticket sales of any other tour in history. The tour also drew the first tour in history to gross 2 billion dollars, with a staggering 10,168,008 people on tour! Shortly after Swift’s feat, according to People Magazine, Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres Tour with 156 shows grossed $1 billion selling tickets. Still, Swift’s tour was shorter at 149 dates.

In a heartfelt moment during the final show, Swift thanked her fans, saying, “I want to thank every single one of you for being a part of the most thrilling chapter of my entire life,” before performing “Karma.” In another emotional speech, she reflected on the global journey of the tour, calling it “the most exciting, powerful, electrifying, intense, most challenging thing I’ve ever done.” She also acknowledged that the tour had touched over 10 million people.

Fans also commemorated Swift’s upcoming 35th birthday on Dec. Once the tour is finished, Swift will next be seen at the Grammy Awards on February 2, 2025, where she has six nominations, including Record of the Year and Music Video of the Year for her collaboration with Post Malone on “Fortnight.”
