Tata Motors to Implement 3% Price Hike on All ICE and EV Models Starting January 1st, 2025

The company has announced a hike in prices by up to around 3% in its entire passenger vehicle range, including hatchbacks, sedans, and SUVs, in both ICE and EV guises, effective from next year. This is a frequent occurrence for manufacturers generally at the end of the calendar year. This is due to higher input costs and inflation, although Tata is saying that it will absorb a lot of this increase, and a portion of the increase will be passed on to buyers.

The price revision will be applicable for the Tiago, Tigor, Punch, Punch EV, Nexon, Nexon EV, Curvv, Curvv EV, Harrier, and Safari models. The revised price will come in January 2025 and it will be different according to the model as well as its variant.

However, Tata Motors is not just going up with the prices. The most recently laid eyes on were the Harrier EV and Safari the most recent of which are expected to receive a dual-motor 4WD configuration for the Harrier EV. Tata also continues to revive the iconic Sierra nameplate, which the automaker could launch as an EV ahead of an ICE model. The Tiago and Tigor are also due for an update, as their competitors continue to be updated. However, Tata’s quality control and after-sales service still have room for improvement, as expressed by some customers on social media platforms.
