    How Was the Stunt Performed?

The stunt took place at AIESL Hangar, Thiruvananthapuram, where Tata Motors secured a custom towing jig to the Curvv’s mainframe. This setup allowed the SUV to generate the necessary force to move the massive Boeing 737 across the tarmac.

    Tata’s Legacy of Record-Breaking Feats

This isn’t Tata’s first time pulling an aircraft. Back in 2017, the Tata Hexa performed a similar stunt by pulling a Boeing 737-800. However, unlike the Hexa, which had a 2.2L turbo-diesel engine with 400 Nm torque, the Curvv’s achievement is even more impressive given its monocoque chassis and a smaller 1.2L engine.

Tata Curvv: A Game-Changer in the SUV Segment

The Tata Curvv isn’t just about power—it also boasts modern technology, premium features, and advanced safety. Key highlights include:

    • 12.3-inch touchscreen infotainment system
    • 10.25-inch digital driver’s display
    • Panoramic sunroof
    • Ventilated front seats
    • 360-degree camera with Level 2 ADAS
    • Six airbags (standard)

    Available Powertrain Options

The Curvv comes in three engine variants:

    EnginePowerTorqueTransmission
    1.2L TGDi Turbo-petrol125 PS225 Nm6-speed MT, 7-speed DCT
    1.2L Turbo-petrol120 PS170 Nm6-speed MT, 7-speed DCT
    1.5L Diesel118 PS260 Nm6-speed MT, 7-speed DCT

    Price & Rivals

    • The Tata Curvv is priced between Rs 10 lakh and Rs 19.20 lakh (ex-showroom, PAN India).
    • It competes with the Citroën Basalt, Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, Maruti Grand Vitara, and Honda Elevate.

Tata Motors continues to push the boundaries of automotive engineering, proving that innovation is at the core of its DNA. The Curvv’s record-breaking stunt not only highlights its structural integrity and performance but also sets a new benchmark for SUV capabilities. As Tata expands its lineup with cutting-edge technology and powerful performance, the Curvv is undoubtedly a game-changer in the segment.
